MARKET RESEARCH

For my Market Research course, we had to find a small business that we could collaborate with and analyzes areas within their business that they could potentially grow in and cater to the needs of their demographic. We partnered with Reborn Coffee and conducted 100 in-person surveys (during the peak of COVID in a safe manner) to find areas of improvement and what their loyal customers were expecting out of Reborn.

NON-PROFIT MARKETING

This project was one of my personal favorites as we were assigned to find a non-profit client and create a marketing plan for the organization. I was lucky to work with OC United, which is a faith-based non-profit located in Fullerton, CA. My focus for this project was to create a marketing plan for OC United’s THRIVE Program, which is a program that supports former foster & at-risk youth who need help transitioning into adulthood and healthy independence. This project taught me how important it is to serve with local non-profits and how they contribute to our community behind the scenes.

TARGET MARKET PROJECT

In the Target Marketing Project, I was assigned to pick an industry, pick two competitors in that industry, and create a third business based on the research conducted. I selected Philz Coffee and Dripp Coffee as my focus of study. The research was conducted over the course of the semester to create an 80-page paper based on the findings. This project taught me professionalism and the importance of consumer needs and catering to them. This course increased my excitement for pursuing marketing as a career.
